SHOPPING FOR A MUSICIAN for your special event can be tricky.  Here are some questions you might have...and the answers:

"I found a harpist that is cheaper.  Should I economize on the music?"

You may have found a real bargain, but you may also have hired someone that will double book, subcontract to a student, be late for your ceremony or worse yet, not show up.

REMEMBER, a fairly compensated musician  will want to make you happy!

"How is your fee calculated?"

The  fee is based on the purchase of a $48,000 instrument and insurance, a transport vehicle,  20 years of musical studies, sheet music, strings, and amplification system.

 "Do you perform outdoors?"

Yes, under certain conditions.  The harp must be under shelter at all times and the harp needs a level area of at least 6'X8'.  A gazebo, tent, awning or umbrella work well as shelter.  The harp is a very expensive instrument made of wood with many moving parts.  The gut strings and wood are very susceptible to temperature and humidity.  The harp cannot get wet under any circumstances.  Even a light mist would damage the harp.

"What payment methods do you accept?"

I accept personal checks, money orders, and Paypal.  Out of state checks must be certified or received 14 days prior to service.  A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date.  The remaining balance is due 10 days prior to the event.
